EPL: Jack Wilshere confirms intention to return to Arsenal

Former Arsenal player, Jack Wilshere, has said he would love to return to the Gunners.

Wilshere said that it would be a dream to go back to Arsenal, but insisted there is little chance of a dramatic return to the North London club happening.

The 28-year-old is currently without a club after reaching an agreement with West Ham United to terminate his contract in October, 2020.

“You never know, I am an Arsenal man,” Wilshere told The ITV Football Football Show when asked if he would consider a pay-as-you-play deal back at Arsenal.

“There’s nothing. I have not spoken to anyone or anything. But that would be the dream.

“I am not stupid to know that there’s probably no chance of it happening. But I am an Arsenal man. I love the club, I want to see the club do well.”
